BECOME PART OF THE SHOW

Join Somerset-based aKa Dance Theatre Company for this unique and free opportunity to work with and become a part of the companies’ professional work A Real Fiction.

Brilliantly bonkers and full of fun, this show is ready for another twist! We want you, yes you, to become a vital member of the aKa extended community cast.

Over the course of two creative days, you will be guided by company directors Jen and Joe in becoming performance ready for a live, public performance held at Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to get involved and have a cracking time.

aKa Dance Theatre return with their brilliantly bonkers show A Real Fiction! But this time with their extended community cast!

So fasten your seatbelts as A Real Fiction is coming and it is filled with fun, funk and foam bananas!

A Real Fiction has been whipping up a storm and collecting your memories on the way through! Loaded with current affairs, childhood nostalgias and one hit wonders this work has been co-created with the community, for the community.

A hyperactive mix of dance, theatre, meme and pop culture. You can expect the unexpected as you lose yourself in other peoples memories, whilst we guarantee you’ll have an unforgettable time. For ages 7 – 107!

aKa Dance Theatre Company

Co-founded by dance mad Jen Grant and Joe Garbett, aKa are a Somerset based company who are fiercely interested and invested in ensuring that the arts are accessible and enjoyable to all and love nothing more than bringing communities together. They have been creating turbulently happy works since 2014.
