A.J.’S Big Band returns to Tacchi-Morris in February 2023. They will be performing a variety of big band classics featuring the music of Glenn Miller.
The South West’s premier big band, now into its 39th year of performing across the West Country and beyond, is delighted to be returning to Taunton for another packed, two set programme, of swing and jazz classics. With memories of the golden years of the big bands, the music of Glenn Miller will be a feature of this concert.
Since its formation in 1983, the Devon based seventeen-piece has maintained an enviable reputation with its presentations of classic arrangements and songs. High on the agenda is the band’s new vocalist, Jaqs Price- Hughes, whose vibrant style brings an exciting dimension to the music scene. Nostalgia is a significant factor in A.J.’s appeal. The swinging sounds, from this superb band, still excites generations of music lovers. All in all, this is an unmissable musical event.
