Update - 10/09/20
The health and safety of our visitors, our team of staff and volunteers, and the wider public is our most important priority during this challenging time. We’re delighted that our classes programme is now able to restart for Sep 2020 onwards and it will follow Government guidance to ensure everyone involved is as safe as possible.
We are putting in place a range of measures at our venue to make us COVID Secure during our Community Classes Programme. These include...
-
Asking all participants, staff and tutors to not attend a class if they feel unwell with coronavirus symptoms
-
Using a one way system for entry and exits
-
Having staggered start times for each of the different classes
-
Encouraging frequent hand washing and use of hand sanitiser
-
Following the 2m social distancing guidance in all parts of the venue
-
Requiring people to wear face coverings in the centre’s foyer spaces (children under 12 or people with an exemption are not required to wear a face covering)
-
Taking details as part of the NHS Test & Trace system
-
Reducing class sizes to allow for social distancing in classes
-
Cleaning spaces between each class and increasing the frequency of cleaning in the venue
-
Minimising the number of people in the venue
