Heathfield Community School present...

Private Peaceful

Written by Michael Morpurgo, adapted by Simon Reade.

Join Heathfield Community School BTEC Drama students as they relive the life of Private Tommo Peaceful, a young soldier of the First
World War. Witness his story of loyalty, bravery, love and death as he waits through the night to see what dawn will bring…

Launch PAD is an annual festival of shows and performances throughout the academic year by students of Heathfield Community School that encompasses theatre, dance, musical theatre and music productions. The school and Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre’s shared vision, to be a centre of excellence in the Performing Arts in Education, is rooted in the belief that exposure to the performing arts influences the development of young people in a positive and meaningful way; raising self-esteem and confidence and helping young people achieve their full potential.
