A 70th Birthday Retrospective
Later That Same Lifetime
A 70th birthday retrospective of music written for bands, choirs, mixed ensembles, theatre, parades, albums, friends and the sheer joy of it!
By Nick Brace
A lifetime of music – A unique celebration.
Nick Brace has been writing music specifically for commissions, projects and fun for A LONG TIME! This has included award winning shows at The Edinburgh Fringe, sell-out community operas, and music performed and recorded all over the world by countless professional, semi-professional and community ensembles of all ages.
Now he’s bringing together musicians from across the country, including many who took part in the original performances, to perform a selection of works drawing on choral, jazz, contemporary, musical theatre and traditional influences.
Entry is free but there will be a collection taken in support of Rehoming Cyprus Pointers. Information at www.rehomingcypruspointers.co.uk
‘Nick Brace has a unique ability to create music that is both accessible and original – you never quite know what’s coming next but you’re always happy when it arrives.‘
