Technical Theatre Apprentice

We’re looking for a new Technical Theatre Apprentice to start in September 2022.

The apprentice will be line-managed and work closely with our Technical Manager who will provide full-training in all aspects of live event production and delivery across a variety of disciplines.

Working week
Varies week to week. You will need to be able to work evenings & weekends, and some daytime shifts. You will be working over term-time only.

Total hours per week: 37
Expected duration: 2 years
Possible start date: Mon 5 Sep 2022
Note: An Enhanced DBS check will be required (paid for by TMAC) before the successful candidate can start.

Marketing Officer

We’re looking for a new Marketing Officer to start in September 2022.

MARKETING ROLE – JOB PACK

Contract: 22.5hrs per week*, term-time only + 2 weeks *22.5hrs per week – days of week and spread of hours negotiable.

 Salary: Grade 13, Point 6-11 (£20,043-£22,129 pro-rata).  Actual salary £10,658-£11,767, pay award pending

Start date: Mon 5 Sep 2022
Note: Successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check before starting (paid for by TMAC).

Other Information: This role is venue based. Working from home is not available for this position. All members of staff at Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre are employed by Somerset County Council.

Front of House Manager

We’re looking for a Front of House Manager to start in September 2022.

This is a new role and we’re looking for someone passionate and excited about making sure our Front of House operations are well-run and welcoming for everyone. If you would like to work in a friendly, community arts venue then have a look at the job information pack.

FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER ROLE – JOB PACK

Contract: 30hrs per week*, term-time only** + 5 weeks
*Mainly evenings and weekends during term-time as per requirements of venue programme. Annualised hours, 1290 per annum (based on an average of 30 per week)
**The additional weeks means we expect this role will have around 4 weeks during school holidays. Termly schedules will be agreed in advance.

 Salary: Grade 13, Point 6-11 (£20,043-£22,129 pro-rata).  Actual salary £15,277-£16,866, pay award pending
