Tai Chi
Tai chi exercises can help to increase balance, flexibility and vitality as well as exercising the muscles and improving general well-being. The smooth, gentle movements aid relaxation and help to keep the mind calm and focused. All ages and abilities can experience the harmony and calm these centuries old exercises can induce.
Kenny Brown’s Tai Chi journey began on an Army exercise in Hong Kong in 1996 when he saw Tai ji being practiced in a small village just after dawn. It continued with classes and he became a registered instructor in 2013. His journey will never be complete but Kenny can pass on all he discovered on the way. His firm beliefs on Taiji Quan are:
- It is about principles. Without them it becomes a series of poses.
- It is about being relaxed and yielding, in the mind and body,
- It should be fun.
