Free Family Friendly Theatre – The Time Machine

Tor Theatre present…
The Time Machine
A hilarious, family-friendly mash-up of the vintage Science-Fiction stories of H G Wells.
We wanted to call the show…
The Shape Of The War Of The Invisible Time Machine Man Of The Worlds To Come!
…but we didn’t have room on the poster.
Gasp as we battle monsters from the future – using nothing but deck chairs!
Gape as we witness Martians destroy Somerset – a bit!
Swoon as we show you some fantastic special effects, like…
An Invisible Man crossing the stage!
Make a Moon Monster Puppet!

Calling all little monsters and their grown-ups! Join Above Bounds Theatre for a fun, relaxed craft activity where children can design and make their very own Moon Monster puppet.
But what is a Moon Monster? They’re silly, fun creatures who live on the moon… and they love to eat everything in sight! As we begin creating our new theatre show for children, Moon Monsters, we’d love your help imagining what these monsters look like and what they get up to.
Using collage and craft materials, children will create their own unique puppet and decide what their monster enjoys doing — especially if it ever came down to Earth and visited a theatre!
This is a drop-in activity, perfect for families with primary aged children.

Meet this year’s panto cast

Reamba Productions return in December for another spectacular panto. This year it’s Jack & The Beanstalk and you can meet some of the cast, have photos and enjoy some classic panto fun! They’ll even be performing some classic songs throughout the day.
You can find out more information about this year’s panto here.
Live Music!

Throughout the day we will have live music being played on our outdoor stage area. Members of our panto cast will be joining us for a song or two, students from Monkton Wood Academy will be performing, there will be a guided sing-along (a perfect taster of our singing for fun community class), and finally The Chosen Few headline once again following their barnstorming performance last year!
