shed-ache – aKa Dance Theatre
shed-ache is a seriously silly dance theatre show that transports little people and their grown ups to a world that sits somewhere between reality and make believe.
Two friends (three if you count the shed) get up to all sorts whilst faced with downpours, lava floors and socks falling out of the sky.
Be prepared to be blown away by aKa’s brand new family-friendly show which is bright and sunny. With 100% chance of laughter.

imagination and the importance to embrace experiences whatever the weather.
Designed to create space for young children and their grown-ups to engage with high quality dance, theatre and comedy. This show can be enjoyed by everyone and is the perfect way to bring communities together for a shared experience.
shed-ache’s easy to follow narrative sits within a series of impressive, unifying and belly laughing scenarios.

All aKa shows are relaxed shows.
- None of the narrative is told through speech making the work

Pay what you decide
We understand that coming to the theatre can be expensive, especially when bringing the whole family. To make it more accessible for everyone to come and enjoy shed-ache, aKa Dance Theatre Company are offering tickets on a pay what you decide basis.
Please select the ticket(s) that work best for you to come. A ticket would typically cost £8. However, aKa are offering £0, £4, £8 and £12 options. You can choose tickets all at one price or mix it up to suit you.
The main thing is aKa want you to come and enjoy the show.
