The South West’s premier Wind Band, Taunton Concert Band, return for a night of music celebrating stage and screen. A night for anyone who loves the soaring delights of wind band music. This special group of musicians perform just one wonderful concert each year at Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre, so don’t miss 2024.
Previous years have seen the band performing A Weekend in New York, La Virgin de la Macarena, John Williams’ Four Symphonic Themes, Alpine Legion March, Jitterbug and many, many more!
About Taunton Concert Band
Taunton Concert Band is a symphonic wind band (a band which is composed of wind and brass instruments) that was started back in 1892 when it was known as the Taunton Town Band. The band aspires to attain the highest standards of musicianship within a social and friendly environment and attracts players from all over Somerset, while retaining a core of long-standing members. The band pride themselves on their eclectic, challenging and rewarding repertoire.
