Actiontrack presents…

The Dhol Foundation

As the finale to their Global Music Residency, Actiontrack presents a special performance by The Dhol Foundation.

They say that music is the language of the soul, and nothing could be truer for this group. The Dhol Foundation has earned a reputation as a group of talented musicians and skilful performers coming together to create a truly monstrous show! The Dhol Foundation continues to touch the hearts of fans around the world with their distinct and enjoyable musical style.

The high-energy, hands-in-the-air show was dominated by thumping drum beats and synchronised Bhangra grooves that were impossible to ignore.

THE BAREFOOT REVIEW

Johnny Kalsi made it his mission to educate the world about his love for the Dhol drum. Its beauty and power has attached itself to the hearts and souls of millions around the world. With more Dhol groups joining the wake of the Dhol foundation with their equal love for the Dhol, this is one of the fastest growing arts in the punjabi music world!

The Vision for The Dhol Foundation has always been to bring happiness and joy to the people listening and to break the natural limitations of the drum. In the hands of Johnny Kalsi, the Dhol drum quickly earned its place on the world’s stages, not just as a punjabi instrument, but a drum of the world.
