WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE
An evening of spoken word celebrating this year’s entrants to The Page is Printed creative writing competition. Words will be shared and winners will be announced.
There is also a £25 ‘Best on the Night’ prize, so come and share your work even if you haven’t entered.
About the competition
Write in any genre: prose, poetry, script, a confession, a love letter, a list… be bold, be imaginative, but contain your entry to just one side of A4.
Our panel of judges will be looking for something that dares to be different and most importantly something that comes to life when it is read aloud.

Our Booking Guarantee
We appreciate that there’s still a lot of uncertainty with regards to the future, however we hope that people will still consider booking tickets for shows and events – it really is crucial for venues such as ourselves that we’re still able to plan ahead. Our booking guarantee is to reassure all of our patrons that if this show has to be postponed or cancelled, ticketholders will be entitled to a full refund, or if preferred, a credit onto your TMAC account. If you are unable to attend due to having COVID, provided you tell us in advance, we will refund or provide a credit onto you TMAC account.
