Get ready for a great night out!
The Deane Big Band will be bringing you the glorious sound of Frank Sinatra and Count Basie. And they will throw in some Peggy Lee and Nina Simone too.
We all need some good times these days, and Deane Big Band promise this will be one of them. Big Band, Big Tunes, Big voices… Good Times… Easy.
Sinatra and Basie made several albums together, including the fantastic live album Sinatra at the Sands which included a lot of their big hits. Classics like Come fly with me and I’ve got you under my skin and Fly me to the moon.
The fabulous Chris Franks will be singing these as well as some from Sinatra’s quieter side like the The Tender Trap, and Learning the Blues.
The equally fabulous Kelly Dale will be singing classic songs from Peggy Lee and Nina Simone, and the 17-piece Deane Big Band will be driving it all home, in that big smooth steamrollering Basie style.
You won’t go home with the blues!
